Equestrian WA Development Manager Jennine Smith has provided us with the following exciting news:

Advanced GAP participants Oliver Gray and Abbey Johns have been selected to train and ride at the Holsteiner Verband in Germany as working pupils under the guidance of world-renowned trainers.

"This is a highly reputable and respected organisation and for any young Australian rider to be given this opportunity is quite rare,” Ms Smith said.

Another Advanced GAP participant Alison Lokan has been selected to represent Australia at the International Tetrathlon Exchange to be held in San Francisco in August.

Introductory GAP participant Emily Reudavey won the Champion Preliminary and Champion Novice pony sections at the Young Rider Dressage Championships in Toowoomba recently. On top of this she has also recently been invited to join the State Dressage Young Riders Squad.

Advanced GAP participants Shaun Lonergan and Rachel Ozanne and Introductory GAP athletes Anna Kelly and Madeleine Hart each won a $50 Sportsfever voucher as a GAP values award for their feedback on how they have applied skills learnt from GAP into their daily lives and sporting program.

The following GAP participants successfully qualified for the National Interschool Championships to be held at Horsley Park, NSW (home of the 2000 Equestrian Olympics) in September.
